Suicide Bereavement Policy Webinar for Education Settings

Greater Manchester Suicide Prevention Programme  has commissioned Luna Foundation CIC to deliver this 2 hour webinar to outline how an education setting can take practical steps to be prepared to provide support after a pupil is bereaved by suicide, particularly after a parent or primary carer ends their own life.

Luna will introduce its Suicide Impact and Bereavement Policy template for education settings together with an Implementation Checklist, and key team members will be available to provide guidance and answer questions about implementing the policy, which can be adopted in its entirety or elements can be incorporated into an existing bereavement policy.

The two-hour online session is designed for people working in education settings from early years through to further and higher education, and is open to those working in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.
