During June and July, Luna Foundation CIC delivered ten suicide bereavement awareness sessions to education staff and professionals who may find themselves supporting a young person who has experienced the suicide loss of a parent or carer. With timely support after parental suicide young people can go on to live fulfilled lives.
Three guides have been produced to help anyone who may be support to a suicide bereaved young person. One is for parents and carers , one is for professionals and the third includes a range of books for different ages, situations and needs, along with short descriptions and recommendations, to help you work out which ones would be most appropriate as you support the young people who has experienced a suicide loss.
