Join us for our annual World Suicide Prevention Day Virtual Event.
Hear from a range of wonderful speakers about the great work they are doing towards preventing suicide and improving support for those bereaved by suicide.
We will be talking about the proposed BSI Standard for suicide awareness within organisations, learning more about the role of the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) on the media reporting of suicide, hear how writing can lead to healing from an author bereaved by suicide, learn about the power of film to address the impact of suicide and finally and receive an update on The Great Man Challenge that has its roots in Greater Manchester.

Shining a light on suicide
The website has been commissioned by NHS Greater Manchester. The aim of the Shining a Light on Suicide campaign is to prevent suicide and provide support information for those bereaved by suicide and those dealing with suicidal thoughts.
