START, a Salford mental health charity, is hosting 'Surviving Suicide', a peer-to-peer support group where you can express yourself, connect, and find hope through creative arts.

Thanks to support from New Maker Yards, Surviving Suicide provides support for those struggling with suicidal thoughts and/or have survived a suicide attempt.

Each session is led by a professional artist with their own lived experience of suicidality. You’ll learn new art skills, experiment with different mediums, and create works of art that reflect your journey—all at no cost. Materials are included, and each session builds on the last.

The group meets on Fridays 10:30am – 12:30pm at START, Brunswick House in Salford.
