In partnership with Sir Robert McAlpine Strong Foundations Grant, The Lions Barber Collective, are offering free BarberTalk Online training to barbers and hair professionals in Greater Manchester.
BarberTalk Online is a bespoke online training course designed for hair professionals provided by The Lions Barber Collective. During this course you will learn new skills and tools to give you greater confidence to support the mental health of your clients.
These last few months have been incredibly challenging for all of us. We’ve all been having our own range of emotions and if you’ve been feeling it, so have your clients. Now more than ever your clients will likely want to share their experiences and our BarberTalk Online training can help you prepare for those conversations.
You’re more than just a barber or a hairdresser. You’re a safe space for someone to feel some support and kindness. This is an opportunity for you to make a difference to someone’s life.
BarberTalk Online is an in-depth session that builds on the four pillars of our training to equip you with the skills to help your clients to better mental wellbeing:
The BarberTalk Online training is a 4-hour course that normally takes place in person, so we’re delighted to now be able make the training more accessible.
Not only will you be able to learn directly from Tom Chapman and his team of ambassadors, you will come together with other industry cohorts to dive in to the topic of mental health, share how it impacts you and your job, and learn how you can support your clients in your role.
The training will take place 10am to 2pm on Monday 23 November.
The virtual course will be delivered live online and we are only able to offer this free for a limited period of time, so book your place now.
