Join writer, broadcaster & DJ Dave Haslam as he puts your questions to Tom Chapman, founder of The Lions Barber Collective.

After losing a friend to suicide in 2015, award winning barber Tom Chapman founded The Lions Barber Collective to raise awareness of mental wellbeing and suicide prevention. The charity offers bespoke training for barbers to teach them to how to prevent suicide and save lives.

Since then, Tom has taken his message of hope across the country and in 2018, he delivered a TEDx talk. Tom received a Points of Light award from the Prime Minister for his outstanding volunteer work.

He’s also written two books, including BarberTalk – Taking Pride in Men’s Mental Health, which looks at how Tom responded to his personal tragedy to affect real social change.

In 2020, Tom produced £1.7 Million Haircut, a documentary about suicide and how The Lions Barber Collective is training barbers to save lives, one haircut at a time.

This event, hosted by writer, broadcaster and DJ Dave Haslam, gives you an opportunity to find out more about The Lions Barber Collective and £1.7 Million Haircut and to ask Tom about the work he is doing to prevent suicide and save lives.

Click register to book your place and send in your questions for Tom.

The event will be held online and joining instructions will be sent out before the start of the event.
