NHS 111 Mental Health Crisis Support


Call NHS 111 and select the mental health option if you, or someone you know, is in a mental health crisis.
Available 24/7, you’ll speak to a mental health professional who can help you find the right support.

The Lighthouse Project

A Wigan-based community group focused on mental health and wellbeing to prevent suicide and support those affected by suicide. As well as crisis intervention, it offers one-to-one talking therapies, separate men’s, women’s and young people and children’s groups and holistic therapies.

Men's peer support sessions where men can talk, be listened to and support each other through tough times. Directions for Men also provide activities to support better mental health and fitness.
